Meet The Core Team

Dr Matteo Cossutta
Matteo holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham where his research focuses on techno-economic and environmental analysis in energy generation and storage, and nanomaterials.
Matteo has over 15 years of experience of conducting life cycle assessments (LCA) in a wide variety of industry sectors and across a diverse range of products and organisations.
He has deep expertise of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and Science-Based Targets Initiatives (SBTi) enabling him to advise businesses on best practice reporting of emissions reductions and net-zero targets.

Floris Bierkens
Floris holds a master’s degree in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering and another in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Surrey. His expertise lies in data analysis and energy optimisation.
Floris has published papers based on a number of research projects in these fields.
Floris specialises in performing and reviewing life cycle assessments (LCA), organisational carbon footprints, and carbon reduction projects, including Science-Based Targets Initiatives (SBTi).

Dr. Akos Cseke
Akos holds a PhD from the University of Manchester where he published several scientific papers including a framework for assessing self-healing products.
Akos has a background in engineering design and manufacturing with a focus on process modelling and life cycle assessment (LCAs) of new materials and emerging technologies.
He has conducted LCAs for several research projects in academia and industry.

Dr. Jorge Orozco
Jorge holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham specialising in the life cycle assessment of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles.
He is continuing his work as a postdoctoral researcher in engineering sustainability.
Jorge supports Aria Sustainability through his expertise in clean energy technologies and the production of low carbon fuels such as hydrogen from offshore renewable energy sources.
He also provides valuable expertise in carbon foot printing for the packaging industry.
We Collaborate With Expert Advisers
Aria Sustainability is a young business with big ambitions to positively influence as many sectors as possible.
That’s why from time to time, depending on project requirements, we collaborate with specialists from other organisations.
Our collaborators are trusted colleagues who share our sustainability goals and commitment to excellence.
Meet The Extended Team

Dr. Betsabé De La Barreda Bautista
